Grandaunt
The last time I saw her was almost two years ago. A few days after attending the last rites for my grandfather, I was about to fly back to Bangalore. By the gate, luggage in my hand, I overheard her asking my mother “will he make my picture like he made one for his grandfather?”

My Grandaunt took renunciation at a young age and has been traveling in between hermitages since then.

The Affinity of Psyche & Context
In this exhibition, through my drawings, I explore the understanding of my mind and it’s connection and relationship with various contexts, objects, and people that exist around me. I believe when we draw something, it builds a profound connection between the subject and the observer.
